Hello! It's Tuesday again and this weeks theme is a "Fugly" polish. This was kind of hard for me since I don't buy polishes I would consider "fugly". I chose to use Color Club Nouveau Vintage from the Back to Boho collection. This is not a color I would ever buy if it were on it's own. What you see is 3 coats.

Ha! I looove this color and would never call it fugly. Beauty in the eye of the beholder, it seems :)
ReplyDeleteI would look nice with some nail art on it - or even stamping tho... :)
ReplyDeleteI usually prefer my browns in creme form, but I kinda like this one! ^.^
ReplyDeleteMy point exactly! :)
ReplyDeleteI would never buy it, but it looks nice on you. I am with you, I do not purposely go out and buy polishes I think are fugly!
ReplyDeleteVery fugly lol
ReplyDeleteI have a hard time with shimmery/metallic browns...I don't like how they make my skin look, so I am with you on this- FUGLY! (but, your nails are pretty, as usual!)
ReplyDeleteAwww....it's pretty :-( Makes me want to pull my untried bottle of Nouveau Vintage!
ReplyDeleteI never got this one because I wasn't too keen with it. It's pretty, but not for me.
ReplyDeleteI love this fugly color :D Really, it's very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI have this color and have yet to wear it - now I want to!
ReplyDeleteI doubt I would pick this one up on its own either, but after seeing your swatches I think it is really pretty!
ReplyDeletebeautiful !
ReplyDeleteIm on the fence with this one....
ReplyDeleteI had a hard time picking a polish this week too! I don't buy polishes I think are fugly! But I think this looks beautiful on you!
ReplyDeleteOh I really like this!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have this one. I think it's fantastic in the bottle, but not quite as pretty on. I usually use it in conjunction with something else.
ReplyDeletei actually like it alot! :D
ReplyDeleteOh my... That is... quite scary. Might be the most fugly I've seen yet! Yay you!
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty in the bottle but it's a little iffy on the nail.
ReplyDeleteNot too fugly once on the nails. :D
ReplyDelete~ Yun
Very true! I don't think it's fugly per se, just wouldn't buy it.
ReplyDeletePossibly :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's the shimmer that I don't like.
ReplyDeleteThanks. This was a tough one this week!
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteThank you Maribeth!
ReplyDeleteLove to see your swatches!
ReplyDeleteYea, I only have it b/c it came in the set.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see your swatches!

ReplyDeleteWhat do you use it with?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYea, I am not sure it's even pretty in the bottle for me!
ReplyDeleteThanks you!
ReplyDeleteHehe not too bad of a color, but not one that I would buy alone either :D
ReplyDeleteI have this colour and I like it :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks really pretty with China Glaze For Audrey. My favorite that I've done is this one: http://topcoatit.com/2012/01/28/turquoise-acetone-wash-nails/
ReplyDeleteYea, I wouldn't pick it up on it's own
ReplyDeleteGlad it get's some love! It's just not for me. :)
ReplyDeleteAww, it's still beautiful on you, fugly polish and all!
ReplyDeleteI actually really like this polish and I think it looks great on you! I picked up the Studio M re-bottle of it (same name and everything) not too long ago and am waiting for fall weather to bust it out. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Can't wait to see your swatches!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jayne!
