One more franken!

Another?? You gotta be kitten me! (haha ok, enough with the silly shtick) Yes I have one more franken to share with you today.  This is supposed to be my tribute to my Sorority.  Our colors were maroon and lavender.  While it isn't quite what I had wanted, it's still pretty.  I wanted the lavender glitter to stand out a little more. What you see on the nail is 2 coats and a topcoat. Enjoy!

I'd also like to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the best dad in the whole world!!!! Love you!

Pink Franken!

Hello Hello! I have a franken to share with you today! This is a bright pink with holographic glitter and some flakies mixed in.  What you see in the pictures is 3 coats.  I am terrible at coming up with names, so this poor little polish has no name! Enjoy!

Franken Wednesday!

Another franken! Why yes it is!  This is a light grey base with blue and purple glitter mixed in.  What you see is 3 thin coats.  Again, poor little franken has no name.  Enjoy! (Please ignore my gnarly cuticles)

Twinsie Tuesday: Non Ring Finger Accent Nail

Hello Hello!!! It's Twinsie Tuesday time again! This weeks theme is to do a non ring finger accent nail.  If you are wondering, usually accent nails are the ring fingers.  I chose to use some frankens for this manicure.  On my index and pinky I used a light blue with multi-colored glitter, and then on the ring, middle and thumb, I used the light pink with multi-colored glitter.  Each has about 3 coats. Enjoy!

One More Franken!

Hello! Hope you are all well! This is the latest franken that I made.  It's just like the light pink version which you can see here.  This is also similar to the other white franken with the pink and blue glitter which you can see here. I have really been enjoying white creme polishes with glitter mixed in lately! Enjoy!

Have a great weekend!

Another franken!

Hello! I have another nameless franken for you today! This is very very similar to Claire's and Deborah Lippmann Candy Shop, but lighter.  I personally like the lighter version better.  Now, rather than do the simple thing and lighten my bottle of Claire's Candy Shop, I started from scratch.  This is 3 coats. Enjoy!

I have another franken to show you, so be on the lookout!

Franken Friday!

Hello! I have another franken to show you today! I was looking at my polishes and decided to make a white franken.  I had a no name pink and blue glitter and a few others.  I also had a bottle of an Essie that was mislabeled. It was supposed to be Adore-a-Ball, but I think it was something else, as it does not match any pictures.  So I started mixing.  The inspiration of this came from Jaw Breaker Candy.  I know there are other frankens out there like this, but I wanted to have my own!  This is 3 coats. Enjoy!

Franken Friday!

Hello Hello! I have another franken to show you today.  As you may remember, earlier this week for Twinsie Tuesday (you can see that post here), we did a post about a hyped up polish we were disappointed by.  I chose NOPI Follow Me On Glitter.  I was disappointed by it because the multicolored glitter just didn't show up.  Well I decided to see what I could do with it and came up with this.

I didn't catch that little piece of glitter until the pics! This looks a little rough, but I hadn't added topcoat yet.

I poured some of the NOPI out and added the rest to an empty bottle.  Then I added a little silver glitter and then a ton of multicolored glitter.  I also added some holo polish, but you can't really see it.

This is exactly how I wanted the original polish to be!!! I love it now!!!!!! It looks a little rough, but topcoat really smoothed it out!

Friday Franken!

Happy Friday!!! I decided I liked making frankens, so I made another one. I wanted something simple and a little shimmery/sparkly.  I had one last bottle of clear polish (half full), and then added several of my nude polishes and a little bit of CG Snow Globe, and some other glitters and shimmers.  I think it came out nicely, but it's still lacking a little something. What do you guys think??? I'm also open to name suggestions!!

My awkward right hand makes an appearance!

If any of you are celebrating St. Paddy's Day tomorrow have fun and be safe!!!!

Twinsie Tuesday: A Franken

Hello Hello!! It's time for Twinsie Tuesday! This weeks theme is a franken, something of our own creation.  I'll be honest with you guys, this terrified me!  I am not so good with the frankening, but I think it actually turned out pretty good!! The first picture I am going to show you is what inspired this franken.  This is Pure Ice Kiss Me Here with Essie Shine of The Times layered on top and also a matte top coat.

What I used for this franken was Pure Ice Kiss Me Here, Sally Hansen Xtremewear Disco Ball, Essie Shine of The Times, and a little pinches of the Finger Paints Special Effects Topcoats.  I used 3 coats to achieve what you see in the pictures below.  It turned out kind of like a jelly polish. So here is it everyone, my franken! This doesn't have a name, but I am open to suggestions! Hope you like!  (the pictures are larger than normal, I wanted you to be able to see the flakies!)
