Twinsie Tuesday: International Choice

Hello! Sorry my post is so late! This week's theme is international choice. We have a few international ladies in our group so we were all put in groups and the international ladies gave us our mission. My group leader was the fabulous Roisin from Cutie-Clue-les! She hails from Ireland and she gave of the task of representing Ireland. I kept going back to Guinness...I enjoy a good drink, and while I've never tried it, I am sure it's fantastic. Roisin I hope you enjoy this!!! I wanted this to represent a nice tall glass and good memories with friends and just enjoying life! I used Nail Savvy Chocolate and an off white.

Don't forget to check out the other International Choices for today!

Birthday Nails!

Hello! It's my Birthday today!!!! I am 29 today.  These are my nails for the day! My shirt has gold in it so I wanted to match. I was also really loving my leopard print so I added that in as well! For the base layer I used L'Oreal Because We're Worth It. Then I added a layer of Sally Hansen Gem Crush Big Money.  I used the same stamp (Konad M57) and Nina Ultra Pro Black. I filled in a few dots with Femme Coture in Golden Honey. Enjoy!

My birthday bouquet! I bought these at the grocery store, not my best arrangement, but they are beautiful white roses with multicolored Carnations!

Chocolate!

Hello Everyone! Today I have the other Savvy polish that I picked up at Sally Beauty Supply.  This is a gorgeous brown with golden shimmer in it.  The shimmer is easier to see on the nail than the other, but it's still pretty dark in low lighting.  I think this one way be my favorite of the two.  This is 2 coats, and it evened out nicely. Enjoy!

Red Caviar

Hello Everyone! I hope you are all off to a great start in the new year! I went to Sally Beauty Supply the other day and saw that the Femme Coture by Savvy polishes were all $1.99! I am not sure if that means they are going away, or getting ready for something new.  I grabbed 2 of them and I have one to show you today.  As the title says, this is Red Caviar.  It's absolutely gorgeous in the bottle. Deep dark red with shimmer.  I was disappointed though.  The shimmer didn't translate onto the nail.  In certain lighting you can kind of see it, but other wise it's just another vampy color.  I do like the color and I am sure I will wear it again, I just wish there was more of the shimmer on the nail.  It was there right after I applied it and then as it gets dry it just goes away. I tried to get some of the shimmer to show in the pics.  The other polish I got is really nice as well and I will have a post about it soon!

Also, can anyone recommend a really good (and cheap) hand cream?? I just keep looking at my hands and fingers in my pictures and they don't look so pretty!

Christmas Trees and Glitter Overboard!

Hello! I wanted to do something even more festive with the holiday approaching ever faster! I really wanted to try a little bit of "art" so I decided a Christmas tree would be the easiest.  I used painters tape to make the angle.  The base color is Chrome by Savvy, and the tree is Glittering Garland by China Glaze.  I did the tree on the accent nail, and the rest I used Milani gems and Claire's Bedazzled.  On the tree I used Milani Gems. Not sure if I like this one and how long I will wear it.  Enjoy!
(I have no idea why my camera on my phone distorts my pictures outside. This one isn't as bad as the others)

Hit or Miss????

Hi Everyone! I never thought I would say this about a glitter, but I don't know if I like it or not!!! I will let you guys decide! This is 2 coats of Nicole by OPI "Snowman of my Dreams".  I layered it over  coats of Savvy Chrome.  It is sparkly, but I didn't have any sunlight today to really see how it sparkled.  The base is clear I think, or a little blue and it is packed with mostly fine blue glitter and a little bit of multicolored glitter. I really can't decide if I like this combo or not.  I think I will try it over another color soon. Thanks for reading!

Christmas Party on myNails!

Hi everyone! I have a fun one for you today!! I was trying to think of something to do with my nails that was sort of holiday-ish, and this is what I came up with. I alternated silver and gold polish from Sally (Savvy Femme Couture in Chrome and Golden Honey) and then layered Clair's Bedazzled on top.  It reminds me of Christmas ornaments and Christmas lights! I am just loving it! Sparkly!!!! Enjoy!
