Update on Your Palapa or Mine

Hello! Just wanted to show you guys how I "jazzed" this color up. The more at looked at this polish the more I didn't want to distract from it. I added 3 small studs on the accent nail.  It looks ok, but not my favorite.  Enjoy!

A little bit of Holiday!

Hello! I have a fun one today! I decided I wanted to do a little bit of a holiday theme! For this manicure I used one coat of Sinful Colors Envy, and 2 coats of China Glaze Poinsettia (on the accent finger) and then 2 coats of China Glaze Glittering Garland, and 2 coats of Ring in the Red (again on the accent finger).  I went one more step and added some stickers to the accent nail.  Enjoy!

Masquerade Belle

Hi Everyone! I have another vampy dark color for you today! This is Essie "Masquerade Belle".  It's a dark rusty red color and I love it! Three coats and it evened out beautifully.  I added some surprise pics at the end!

And now for the extra pics! I wanted to add a little halloween flair!

I added some stickers I purchased from Sally Beauty Supply.  The ghost is on the rarely seen right hand!

I stamped a pumpkin from my bundle monster plates, and used Kleancolor "Metallic Orange".

More Layers....Kind of a Blah Nail Day

Hello.....so I have a bit of a story for you guys.  I went to Sally and grabbed a few things and what I ended up with was China Glaze Crimson from the Halloween stuff and China Glaze CG in the City.  Well when I got home I just happened to do a little test on my receipt.  While looking at Crimson, I thought to myself, "This looks a lot like Luxedo from Essie".  So I grabbed Luxedo from my stash and slapped it onto the receipt right next to Crimson.  Wouldn't you know it, I couldn't tell the difference between the 2.  So I trucked back on over to Sally and exchanged it for Near Dark.  I'm not impressed with it either.  It's a dark green, but it might as well be black.  I am debating on taking it back as well.  I love China Glaze, but come on, does it really have to be so dark that it's pretty much black.  I have included pics of the Halloween mani I did, but I took it off.  I was in one of those moods where I was just disgusted with my nails.  So I settled on Essie Luxedo and CG in the City layered on top.  It's a very pretty and sparkly.

Ok so here is the comparison of Luxedo and Crimson. Can you tell the difference??

I will tell you! Luxedo is on the bottom and Crimson is on the top.

Now onto what I call the nail fail.

I might have liked this better if I were able to see more green.  I can see a little in the pictures, but those were with the flash.  In person it's black.  Also, the stickers didn't want to stay down and that frustrated me as well.  I may try this again later when I have more patience for it!

And last but not least, the mani I am wearing now.  I like it, but it's nothing that exciting to me.

Pardon the non clean up, I thought about adding a matte topcoat, but decided not to.  Thanks for listening to my rant! Have a great day!

OPI Pink Flamenco

Hello, I just have a simple pink manicure to show you today.  This is OPI "Pink Flamenco".  I like it because it's not too bright, but not too subtle either.  I added some flower stickers on my ring fingers for a little extra!  I also painted my toes and will leave the pink on them for the month of October as it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Enjoy!

My Subtle Hello to Halloween......and a little haul!

Hi Everyone! Hope you are all having a great weekend! This post is a little long today, but lots of good pictures! So this is my start to my Halloween manicures!!! I used some polish from my little haul which I will tell you about further in the post! This is Pure Ice "Kiss Me Here", with Hard Candy "Matte-ly In Love" topcoat.  On my ring finger I added a little purple spider sticker from my Kiss Halloween nail stickers.  I like how this turned out, but I wish the sticker would stick down a little more.  Onto the pictures!

Now onto the little haul.  So my fiance and I went to Walmart at about 2:45 AM.  We are on a totally different schedule b/c of his work schedule.  Anyways, while he parused man stuff I checked out the polish section.  This particular Walmart didn't really have much in the way of Halloween polish.  I did see the Pure Ice "Kiss Me Here", and also "Cheating".  Then I turned around and saw the Hard Candy section.  I found a "Matte-ly In Love" topcoat and this really awesome polish called "Beetle".

(Not sure where Pure Ice gets their names!)
