Twinsie Tuesday: Different Technique on Each Nail

Hello! It's that time again! This week's theme is a different technique on each nail. I did something similar to this a while back and I really enjoyed it so I decided I would try to recreate it. I don't know if you could call each of these a different technique, but each nail is certainly different. On my pinky is what I call the "glitter" technique and I used a coat of Sally Hansen Golden -I and then a coat of L'Oreal Sparklicious, on my ring finger I did a ruffian using Nina Ultra Pro in Black and LA Girl Sand Blast in Sands of time, then I just got a little lazy with my middle finger and just used the Nina Ultra Pro by itself. On my index finger is 2 coats of LA Girl Sands of time and lastly on my thumb I used the Nina Ultra Pro Black as a base and used the LA Girl Sands of time to make the cloud shape. Enjoy!

Forever Festive with a Sparklicious Accent!

Hello! I have found a new favorite red.  This is Forever Festive from the new Cover Girl polish collection.  It's a beautiful jewel toned red! What you see is 2 coats.  I added a glitter gradient as an accent using L'Oreal Sparklicious. Enjoy!

Sparklicious!

Hello! I have a super pretty glitter to share with you today! This is L'Oreal Sparklicious.  When I picked it up it looked like it had a little more gold in it, but I couldn't capture it too well in the photos.  It's a beautiful glitter regardless! What is you see is 2 coats layered over a simple silver.  I need to layer it over a gold to see if I can get more of the gold to come through! Enjoy!

Rainy Picadilly

Hello!! I have a gorgeous color for the fall to show you today! I am really loving the darker colors, especially the dark reds and dark greens/blue.  This is L'Oreal Rainy Picadilly.  It's like a really dark blue green, but leans more blue.  I love it! What you see is 2 easy coats! Enjoy!

Because You're Worth It

Hello! I have a pretty gold to show you today.  This is Because You're Worth It from L'Oreal.  The formula is pretty good on this one, but the brush strokes can be bad.  Today you will be seeing my elusive right hand because for some reason, I did a better job with application on that hand.  Go figure! Enjoy!!

Birthday Nails!

Hello! It's my Birthday today!!!! I am 29 today.  These are my nails for the day! My shirt has gold in it so I wanted to match. I was also really loving my leopard print so I added that in as well! For the base layer I used L'Oreal Because We're Worth It. Then I added a layer of Sally Hansen Gem Crush Big Money.  I used the same stamp (Konad M57) and Nina Ultra Pro Black. I filled in a few dots with Femme Coture in Golden Honey. Enjoy!

My birthday bouquet! I bought these at the grocery store, not my best arrangement, but they are beautiful white roses with multicolored Carnations!

Very Subtle Stamping

Quick post for today.  I wanted to stamp some more so I used the heart shapes on one of the new Red Angel Plates.  I thought I had a great idea, and it looks ok, but it was so hard to photograph! I started with one coat of Nina Ultra Pro Black, then a layer of L'Oreal Blue Marine.  Then I stamped with the Nina Ultra Pro Black.  Each nail has a random pattern of hearts and I really like how they look kind of faded.

Adventures in Stamping!

Hello Everyone! I have been wanting to get back into stamping lately since it's what started my polish obsession! I ordered the Red Angel plates from Amazon and they just got here yesterday! What I am going to show you today is a stamp from my Bundle Monster plates.  I've tested out some of the RA plates and so far I think I am going to like them better than the BM ones.  A lot of my BM plates don't transfer the images very well. I am very excited to start using these RA plates!  For this look I started with 2 coats of L'Oreal Walk on the Beach (I forgot to take pictures of this by itself...ooops!), and I stamped with WnW Ebony Hates Chris and BM plate 221. I really like the look of this, I keep looking at my nails! Enjoy!

Club Prive

Hello Everyone! Hope you are all having a great week so far! Today I have one of the new L'Oreal in Club Prive.  This this is pretty close to Essie Turquoise and Caicos.  I think it's got just a little bit more pigmentation, but it's pretty close.  You can see my swatch of the Essie here. (just keep in mind that the pics were taken way back when I first started blogging so the quality isn't too great).  The application was ok, this is 3 coats.  It's pretty streaky at first but fills in fairly well. Enjoy!
