Twinsie Tuesday: Beach Themed

Hello! Sorry for missing last week, I was out of town! I will be making up for that today! This week's theme is Beach. I tried to represent a gorgeous beach sunsent with a gradient. It didn't come out as well I would have liked. I used Zoya Pippa, China Glaze Pool Party and Orchid Tiki Torched.

And here's my texture polish from last week! This is LA Girl Sand Blast in Sandals.

Don't forget to check out the other twinsie's posts for today!

A little layering

Hello! I have a fun post for you today! I decided to try a little layering combination and I really like the results! I started with a layer of a basic black.  Then I added one layer of Orchid I met him in Prism.  After that I added a layer of Finger Paints Easel-y Entertained.  It looked so pretty in the sunlight! Enjoy!

English Tea Time

Hello! Today I have a nude/neutral for you today.  This is "English Tea Time" by Orchid.   I like this color but it's pretty sheer.  I can't even remember how many coats I used, but it was a lot.  They were thin, and it built up well, but I don't like to use that much polish! I also added a layer of "Northern Lights" by Out the Door.  I can't decide if I really like this mani.  What do you guys think?

More Orchid Polish!

Hi Everyone, I hope you are all having a great Tuesday! I have some more Orchid brand polish to show you! This is a simple layering mani I wore over the weekend.  Orchid has some great polishes, but they do lack a little in the glitter department.  I am hoping as time goes on, they will get better.  They do however have this really great topcoat that is a green/blue holo-ish glitter in a clear base.  I will let the pictures do the talking! This is Orchid "Royal Engagement" with "I Met Him in Prism" layered on top! Enjoy!

"Ain't No Sunshine"

Hello everyone! It's been a little gloomy here, but not cold yet.  So I thought this polish would be fitting! This is a polish from a local grocery store and the brand is called Orchid.  If any of you live in Texas and have an HEB near by you can find this polish there.  If you don't have an HEB, Rimmel polish in Steel Gray is very very similar. "Ain't no Sunshine" is a grayish cream.  To me it has a bit of lavender in it, and maybe a bit of brown??   I think it's a great color for the fall/winter. Enjoy!

After wearing this color for a few days I wanted to extend it just a little longer.  I decided to do a french manicure using another color from this line called "Eye of the Storm".  I bought these together thinking they would work well together.  I am not sure if I really like the way this looks.  I think it might work better with the lighter color as the base and the darker as the tip.
