Hi there, another texture for you today. This is Sally Hansen Sugar Coat in Lick-O-Rich. All I can say is that I really love this polish! I love how the texture makes it a little different. What you see is 2 coats. Enjoy!

Laughie Taffy

Hello!!! I am continuing my love of textures! This is Sally Hansen Laughie Taffy. A navy blue texture. My pictures really don't do this justice at all! It's such a rich blue and the texture adds a nice effect. This will be gorgeous for the fall! What you see is 2 coats. If you were really careful you could get away with one. Enjoy!

Twinsie Tuesday: Revisit an Old Challenge

Hello! It seems like it's been a while. I first want to say that I appreciate each and every one of you. I know I haven't been a consistent blogger lately. I just feel like I need a little blogging break. I will continue to post for TT but that's all for now. I will be back though! 

Now on to the theme for this week. We were supposed to go back and revisit an old post. I am cheating a little since I missed the fictional animal print challenge, I am doing it now! I have no idea what to call this, but it reminds me of something from Dr. Seuss. I used Sinful Colors Sugar Coat as the base, and then about 3 thin coats of the new Sally Hansen Fuzzy's in Wool Knot. I know some of you aren't fans of bar glitter, but these are really small. I like the look it gives! Enjoy!

S-Teal A Base

Hello! If you read yesterday's post then you are here to see the base I used for that manicure! What you see is Sally Hansen Insta Dry in S-Teal a Base. So gorgeous!!!!! It was a little thick, but not unmanageable. What you see is 2 coats. It has some gorgeous shimmer in there! I wish it had been sunny so you could see it. Enjoy!

What's on my nails this weekend (Correction)

Hello! Quick post to show you what I have on at the moment.  The base is China Glaze Foie Gras, then a layer of Sally Hansen Diamond Strength White Veil.  I just couldn't help myself so I added a layer of matte topcoat! Enjoy!

Twinsie Tuesday: Best Bargain Polish

Hello Hello! It's Twinsie Tuesday, and this week's theme is Best Bargain Polish.  Now, since I am cheap, I don't usually buy a lot of "expensive" polish (anything over 8 bucks) so I can't say I've found too much that was a really good deal.  I did however one day stumble upon an OPI DS at the grocery store.  I was curious because I knew these were over my 8 dollar limit.  When the cashier rang me up he only charged me 7.50! That was a deal to me! So with out further ado, here is OPI DS Coronation.  (This has been on my blog before, but these pictures are a little better).  I started with a coat of a very very old Sally Hansen Silver then 3 thin coats of Coronation.  Enjoy!

Bam! Pow!

Howdy Howdy! Like my title???  This may not be as Bam! Pow! as I am making out to be, but it's fun none the less. I got my new Bundle Monster Plates in recently and decided to use plate 305.  For the base color I dug out an older Sally Hansen X-Tremewear in Fuchsia Power for the base and stamped with Nina Ultra Pro in Black. I only needed one coat of the Sally Hansen!  Enjoy!

Parrot

Hello! Quick post to show you a fabulous green! This is Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Parrot.  It's such a bright happy green! What you see here is 2 coats.  The formula was ok, a little thick for my taste though.  I used a tiny bit of thinner and that made it perfect! Enjoy!

True Blood is Back!!!

Hello! Was anyone else just as excited as I was about True Blood!!! I did a manicure just for the occasion! I started with 2 coats of China Glaze Lubu Heels, and then sponged on a layer of Sally Hansen Red Carpet. On the tips I sponged on a coat of China Glaze Ring in the Red. Enjoy!

Cerise

Hello! Just a quick post before the weekend! This is Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Cerise.  A nice bright pink red.  I used "underwear" for this one.  What you see on the nail is one coat of "underwear" and 2 coats of Cerise.  Enjoy!

Amethysts, Diamonds, and Gold! (pic heavy!)

Hello! I have a little update to yesterdays Amethyst post.  I decided it needed a little something.  I added a layer of Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in Glass Slipper and Essie As Gold as it Gets. When I did this I alternated which ones were layered first (pinky, middle, and thumb had Glass Slipper first, ring and index had GAIG), then went back and layered the other.  I liked the way it came out, but I couldn't leave well enough alone so I added Hard Candy Matte-ly In Love.  I liked this even better! Enjoy!

Twinsie Tueday: Layered!

 Hello! It's the second edition of Twinsie Tuesday and the theme is "A Layered Polish".  You all know I LOVE to layer so this was an exciting theme for me!!! I wracked my brain trying to come up with something awesome and I kept going back to the Finger Paints over Nina Ultra Pro Glam Rock so I figured since I liked it so much, it deserved it's own post! You have seen this before, but just a picture or two.  So here we go, onto the layers! I started with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Xtremewear in Midnight Sky.

 

Next is one layer of Nina Ultra Pro Glam Rock! (I just love this stuff! I may wear it this weekend for girls night!)

And here are even more layers.  I added one coat each of Finger Paints Special Effects top coats. (Twisted, Flecked, Motley, Asylum)

I think it came out pretty darn good! Subtle yet still really fun!

Lacey Lilac!

Hi Again! Hope you are all having a great weekend! Another short post today, this is Sally Hansen Xtremewear in Lacey Lilac.  This color is growing on me. The more I look at it, the more I like it.  For a little added fun, I added a coat of Pure Ice Busted.  Enjoy!
