What I've been up to...(pic heavy)

I am guessing some of you may have been wondering what I have been up to...well I'll tell you! I have been seeing the nail polish jewelry trend, and I wanted to give it a go.  I was having a hard time finding all the supplies I needed so I decided to make my own.  I went and bought clear resin and molds to make my own cabochons.  These take about 24 hours to dry and then I paint them with nail polish ( or decorate with glitter)! Other than being time consuming (the drying time), they are fun to make and decorate.  I have put 2 of my favorite ones on a ring base. So far I have just been experimenting with different colors and what not.  I have even tried stamping them with my Bundle Monster and Konad plates! I only have one of those to show you though, it's the only one that really came out well. I also have a bangle bracelet mold as well, but the bracelet isn't ready yet.

(This is the smallest square shape, and I used Wet N Wild "Behind Closed Doors" and Sally Hansen Xtreme wear in "Black Out".  Bear with me, I'm not a good hand model lol)

(This is the largest of the square molds.  I used a clear polish and then sprinkled on aqua glitter, then sealed it with Sally Hansen "Black Out".  My nails match!)

(This is China Glaze "Dorothy Who" and China Glaze "Up all Night")
(This is clear polish and white holo-ish glitter.  It's sealed with Kleancolor "Metallic White")

(This is the medium square mold.  I used Kleancolor "Metallic Black and Konad plate M57, then layered Kleancolor "Metallic Pink".  I really like how this came out!)
(This is Sally Hansen LCD and  Kleancolor "Metallic Pink" )
(Sally Hansen "LCD" and Kleancolor "Metallic Purple")
(I tried another stamp, but it didn't come out as well.  It was supposed to be zebra stripes, but they can't be seen.  The purple is Kleancolor "Metallic Purple")

(This is a layer of Sally Hansen "LCD" and then Orchid "Teal me a Story")
(This is the small round mold.  I used Sinful Colors "Let me Go")
(and last but not least, I used the multicolored glitter from Hobby Lobby.  For some reason the red glitter bleeds a little.)

On another note, I am sure some of you remember my Ebay haul which included the Kleancolor metallic polishes.  Well, a package came in the mail the other day from that seller.  Apparently, there was a metallic polish missing! Sooo...... I also have a swatch for you today.  This is Kleancolor Metallic Aqua.  I added some of the aqua glitter I bought from Hobby Lobby for a little extra pizazz! Enjoy!
