Twinsie Tuesday: Nude Polish

Hello! This weeks theme is a nude polish.  My stash of nude polish has grown since I started blogging.  The one I am going to share with you today is Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in Duchesse Lace (that's how the label spells it). The formula is good, only needed two coats.  I think it looks a little flat on my nails, but that's ok, it will still be a nice neutral to wear.

Don't forget to check out what the other ladies have chosen for this week!

  10. Oooh, this is from that new display, right? I actually get the spelling on this one, thanks to my mom doing a lot of fancy sewing when I was growing up--Duchesse Lace is particular kind of lace. Which particular kind I don't recall--though way back when I was planning my wedding I could have told you. :)

    1. Yes it is! I only knew to look for it from your display post! That does make sense about the spelling, I never even thought about it that way! Thanks Karen!

  12. It's nice! It's good to have a few "flat" colours in a nail polish collection even though we know glitter is always the best ;-)

  16. There are quite a few pretty ones in this recent collection of SH's. I don't have this one - my eyes have gone to others first but now I am going to look for this one - it's not like anything I have in my nudes.

    1. Oh and forgot to add, I am pretty sure that is how that type of lace is spelled vs. just plain Duchess. I see it in the descriptions on wedding dresses. There is also a Duchess Satin - not sure if it's spelling is the same or what.

    2. I will admit, my eyes went to this one first. I had never even thought about the different types of lace!
