Hello, late post tonight! I went to Hobby Lobby and Michael's today and found some nice things. I came home and got to work! At Hobby Lobby I found a ring where you can add your own charm, similar to the Pandora style of charms but WAY cheaper! I took a chance on it and bought the ring and a charm with an "M" on it (M is the first letter of my name). I say that I took a chance because there was no size listed on the package and it is not an adjustable band ( I would guess it's a size 8 and I wear it on my middle finger). But, it fits perfectly! I did have an idea though just in case it didn't fit. It can be made into a pendant for a necklace! I also happened to have another charm from the same collection and so I snapped a picture of it on the ring as well. It's very easy to put the charm on, all it takes is a flat head screw driver.
(You can see the little notch, this is where you unscrew it)
Now on to the Michael's haul. They had some beautiful pieces on clearance. I made 3 pairs of earrings and a necklace. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with the pendant, but then I had the idea to use some wire chord. It actually came out quite nicely! The pendant is heavy enough to make the wire lay flat. The first 2 pictures of the earrings are a copper, not one I have really worn before, but I wanted to try it. The circle earrings are a silver with turquoise/light blue notches. I just loved the colors in these pieces!
Hope you enjoy!!!
I love the first initial ring you made! I would wear that! I sent you an email as well!
